EXECUTIVE SUMMARY     The prospective buyer’s search for excitement ends with the VenTure.  This amphibian sprints beyond both land and water based competitors in its quest for speed and range.  On a standard eighty-gallon fuel tank, it can fly three-quarters of the way across the United States.  A true sport utility vehicle, it is as comfortable at the suburban airport as the Beechcraft Bonanza yet is at home on a lake in Alaska or a lagoon in the South Pacific.

The VenTure exceeds both AGATE speed and range specifications.  It has a maximum range of 2400 miles on an eighty-gallon fuel tank.  In normal cruise, the VenTure can travel a distance of 1440 miles at 165 knots.  The VenTure can race to its destination at 185 knots or provide a family with a scenic Sunday flight.

Take-off is a breeze with the VenTure;  it will leave the tarmac in less than 1010 feet and climb at a rate of 2900 feet per minute.  Easy landing is facilitated by a stall speed  of 44 knots with full flaps or 53 knots without flaps.

Performance is illustrated by Figure 10, a graph of power versus velocity.  The VenTure matches and, in some cases, exceeds the performance of most conventional land airplanes of comparable weight.  The VenTure has successfully minimized the performance sacrifices normally associated with an amphibian.  More details can be found in Appendix I
