AOPA'S Airports USA 1989, Published by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, AOPA, 421 Aviation Way, Frederick, MD, 21701, or (301) 695-2044. There is probably a new volume each year. It contains details of essentially all the airports and seaplane bases in the US and its possesions.

Norman Ashford and Paul H. Wright, Airport Engineering, 3rd Ed., John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1992. This is a good survey of the considerations that designers must include in designing airplanes to operate at commercial airports.
