The following files are a list of the composite files generated using the inner (older) and outer (newer, long focal length) LDV design data. The inner profiles (near the wall measurements) were repeated many times due to large differences between the inner and the outer layer normal stress profiles. After these differences were reconciled, composite files were prepared using Excel spreadsheet program by interactively selecting the data points from different files and documenting them all in one file. The file name convention is as follows:

Two dimensional flow data are in 2D??.TC files. The last number denotes the groups of measured quantites. TC stands for tunnel-coordinates. The data are in dimensional units, length (meter), velocity (meter/sec). 2d61.tc contains the quantities in the following order(group "1"): y,Umean,Vmean,Wmean,u^2bar,v^2bar,w^2bar,uvbar,uwbar, vwbar 2d62.tc contains the Reynolds averaged triple products in the following order (group "2"): y,u^2v,u^w,v^2w,uv^2,uw^2,vw^2,uvw,u^3,v^3,w^3

The three-dimensional file names are more hectic. The last number in this case shows the repetition test-run number for that particular station. The number before the last denotes the groups of measured quantities. More over TC stands for the tunnel coordinates and TC2 stands for a second composite profile generated for that particular station. The data groups are same as of the 2D files. In the "1" group the mean velocities and the shear stresses are given, in the "2" group Reynolds averaged triple products are listed. Data are presented in dimensional units. The final data selected to be used or distributed are *.TC2 files for stations 1, 2 and 5; for the other stations *.TC. For station 5 the last number shows the group for that station only for one of the files.

Additional files generated with extensions ".ut" and ".ut2" are the files in which the data are nondimensionalized using the "utau=skin-friction velocity". This data are also in tunnel coordinates.
